A quartz banger or nail is designed to be used for smoking waxes, oils or resins instead of a cone piece which is designed to be used with flower.  

Quartz bangers and nails come in different shapes and sizes but all serve the same function, to turn plant extracts into vapor. They are best used with a purpose designed dab rig or banger hanger, but can also be used in any small glass bong.  

OzBongs were the first to import and sell dab rigs, nails and other dabbing accessories in Australia in the early 2010's. The products have evolved over that time to be more practical and simpler.
