Super late review. However I got this at the start of 2017.
It has seen (very heavy) daily use since arrival. It is still as solid/clean as the day I got it (outside of replacing the stem gromit once).
It has been very well traveled all around Australia, survived a couple of decent falls onto marble tiles and a room-mate even left it on a hot stovetop twice (it lost quarter of a mil of rubber on the HQ base)
Please never stop making this item. I understand making an product so good people don't have to buy another is a risky business strategy, but this is probably the greatest of its kind on the market by a long shot.
Here is to another 6 years!
